The Town of Port Hedland is looking for energetic people to join our team of Plant Operator Labourer’s in the Parks and Gardens team.  In this role, you will contribute to the local living environment by maintaining our parks and open spaces, as well as setting up for events and keeping our local environment clean.


You will bring into the role a positive, pro-active approach to work with experience in horticulture, turf management or irrigation. 


An open class “MR” license and White Card are base requirements for the role, but what sets you apart is your energy and passion for your field and drive to keep our local environment well maintained whilst displaying a strong commitment to safe working practices.


In return, the Town offers a family friendly work roster with fortnightly RDOs, five weeks annual leave per year plus 17.5% leave loading, superannuation co-contribution of up to 14%, generous paid parental leave and a popular Wellness Program including free gym and pool membership.


Applicants will need to pass a full medical, including drug and alcohol screening, to be considered for this position.
