Plant Operator Labourer - Parks & Gardens (Waste)
$72,914.40 pro-rata per annum (including Port Hedland Allowance)

The Town of Port Hedland is looking for an energetic person to join our Parks and Gardens team with the focus of maintaining local facilities in a litter-free state. The role includes removing graffiti, picking up litter, road / footpath sweeping and other activities designed to keep Port Hedland looking beautiful.
You will bring into the role a positive, pro-active approach to work with experience in a similar area highly regarded.
An open class “MR” or “HR” license and White Card are base requirements for the role, but what sets you apart is your energy and passion for your field and drive to keep our local environment well maintained whilst displaying a strong commitment to safe working practices.
In return, the Town offers a family friendly work roster with fortnightly RDOs, five weeks annual leave per year plus 17.5% leave loading, superannuation co-contribution of up to 14%, generous paid parental leave and a popular Wellness Program including free gym and pool membership. This position is offered as a full time opportunity for a maximum term of six months.
