The position of Aquatic Sport & Leisure Officer is responsible for the organisation and facilitation of aquatic & land based programs (swim-school, Aquarobic classes, boot camps), promotions and marketing, including special events and training activities.
Key accountabilities:
Organise and facilitate aquatic facility promotions and marketing of these programs including special events and activities;
Program swim school classes for the aquatic facilities and assist/guide swim school instructors, liaise with customers and implement innovative programming for the swim school;
Program group fitness classes for the aquatic facilities (both aquatic and land based), liaise with customers and implement innovative programming to the aerobics schedule;
Ensure all relevant bookings and enrolments are completed and responded to in a timely manner, ensuring clear and concise communications to the appropriate staff persons/areas;
Contribute to the development of a range of promotions for the Pro Shop to meet the needs of aquatic facilities clients.

Position requirements:
The successful applicant will have previous experience working in a related aquatic position, including sound knowledge of pool safety operations for the delivery of the highest standards of supervision and safety.
Completion of a pre-employment medical including alcohol and other substances testing is required of all positions at the City.
Remuneration and benefits:
A salary starting from $67,895 per annum or $34.3597 per hour will be offered dependent on knowledge, skills, experience and qualifications.
