The Rangers team is responsible for enforcement of animal control, abandoned motor vehicles investigation, parking enforcement, footpath obstructions investigation, overgrown land, compliance programs, illegal roadside trading investigation and litter/rubbish dumping investigation.


About the role:

We are currently seeking a Ranger - Parking Specialist. In this role you will be responsible for carrying out patrols, raising community awareness of illegal parking behaviour, reporting related issues observed on duty and enforcement of related legislation and regulations as necessary to reduce the level of illegal parking.


The successful candidate will demonstrate the following key skills and attributes:

  • Demonstrated work related experience, knowledge and application of relevant legislation and standards relating to Local Government parking regulation.
  • Experience in issuing penalty notices using electronic devices and computer literacy.
  • Highly developed communication and customer relation skills.
  • Completion of Self Enforcement Infringement Notice Scheme (SEINS) Course
  • Current Class C Driver's Licence
