The Rangers team is responsible for enforcement of animal control, abandoned motor vehicles investigation, parking enforcement, footpath obstructions investigation, overgrown land, compliance programs, illegal roadside trading investigation and litter/rubbish dumping investigation.


About the role:

We are currently seeking a Ranger – General Duties. In this role you will be responsible for actioning and resolving related customer requests, carrying out daily patrols, investigating instances of unauthorised trading on public roads/reserves, footpath and roadway obstructions and abandoned motor vehicles, and conducting compliance programs.


The successful candidate will demonstrate the following key skills and attributes:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or extensive job related experience.
  • Completion of the Self Enforcement Infringement Notice System Course and experience in issuing penalty notices using electronic devices.
  • Construction Induction Certificate.
  • High level interpersonal communication and conflict resolution skills.
  • Current Class C Driver's Licence.
  • Ability to work flexible hours and on weekends.
