Nutritional Planner and Cook
We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Nutritional Planner and Cook to join our dedicated Early Years team in providing a supportive environment for the wellbeing of young children in care.
You will be responsible for menu planning, food preparation, catering and providing nutritious snacks and meals on a daily basis. You will have knowledge of the requirements of class 1 food premises and ensure compliance with the National Quality Framework.
The successful applicant will have sound knowledge of menu planning, seasonal foods and hygiene standards and practices as well as qualifications in:
- Certificate III in Commercial Cookery
- Oversee the day to day implementation of food safety in the workplace HLTFSE007
- Follow Basic Food Safety Practices HLTFSE001
- Apply and Monitor Food Safety requirements HLTFSE005
- First Aid and Anaphylaxis
A satisfactory Police Record Check and Working with Children Check are essential for this position.
