Casual Library Assistants



Hourly rate: $29.6710 pa + 9.5% super


We are looking for multiple Casual Library Assistants to deliver best practice library customer and network services though active engagement in a Branch customer service team and the delivery of quality programs and services relevant to the local community needs.


As a Library Assistant your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Implementing and supporting the development of the Library’s vision, mission and plans;
  • Supporting the delivery of quality branch customer services and targets programs;
  • Supporting within the Branch approved staff rostering ad leave arrangements, including evening shifts and weekend work across all branches;
  • Support communications and partnerships within the library service, Council and community stakeholders to facilitate effective services to, and support of, the Libraries’ customers and network services. 


To be successful in this position you must have a Higher School Certificate or equivalent, current Class C Driver’s Licence and a Working with Children Check.
