Located in South West Sydney, Campbelltown Arts Centre is a leader and innovator of multidisciplinary contemporary arts programs and is looking for a full time Grants and Development Officer to support the sustainability of the artistic and public programs, and make a significant contribution to the future of this exciting flagship venue.


About the role:

We have an opportunity for a motivated and experienced Grants and Development Officer to work within the Campbelltown Arts Centre team to seek funding and donations that supports the delivery and sustainability of the Artistic and Public Programs. The position will develop the Campbelltown Arts Centre Trust and prepare grant submissions, sponsorship proposals, reports and acquittals, as well as keep all data and documentation up to date for evaluation, analysis and reporting when required. The position will also contribute to strategic planning and evaluation of programs. The person we are seeking will have experience working in a multidisciplinary arts and/or community development environment and have an extensive knowledge of the arts, cultural and community funding landscape.


The successful candidate will display the following skills and attributes:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Arts Administration or Business, and/ or extensive job related experience within an arts/cultural environment
  • Experience working in a multidisciplinary arts and / or community development environment
  • Experience in grant and report writing to government, corporate and individual donors
  • Extensive understanding/knowledge of arts/cultural funding guidelines across State and Federal government including knowledge of relevant cultural policies
  • Extensive understanding of fundraising strategies including philanthropic funding streams and other income generating opportunities.
