Unit Manager Environment and Certification



Primary Work Location: Wyong NSW

  • Permanent full time position with an attractive remuneration package up to $210k per annum + Leaseback Vehicle

Reporting directly to the Director Environment and Planning, the role of Unit Manager Environment and Certification is responsible for ensuring that the requirements to maintain and continuously improve the health of the Central Coast Community, living and man made environment are always set as organisational and departmental deliverables, and targets are always met.


The role is also responsible for providing day to day leadership to a team of professionals, across areas of building certification regulation compliance, public health and environmental compliance, community safety and ranger services and community contracts and projects, along with developing and leading the way forward in healthy Community living.

  • You're a problem solver, able to work within the rules and negotiate red tape;
  • You're experienced in legislation pertaining to all forms of healthy Community living;
  • You understand how to drive organisational performance and accountability;
  • You enjoy working towards a healthy Community environment.

This position provides a remuneration package of between $175k to $210k per annum (inclusive of Superannuation) dependent on skills and experience. 


A vehicle is provided for official duties and private use leaseback is available in accordance with Council’s Vehicle Policy.
