About the Organisation

The City of Port Phillip is an inner-city council with around 1000 employees who deliver more than 100 programs and services to our residents, businesses and visitors. These range from childcare and immunisations, to libraries, management of parks and open space, rubbish collection, road maintenance and more.  

About the Role

Do you want to make a difference in the community?  If so, an exciting opportunity exists within Council’s Community Capacity Team for the position of Community Grants and Funding Officer.

You will be responsible for implementing Council’s annual Community Grants Program, and other funding programs, community projects and community strengthening initiatives.  This is an opportunity to work with a diverse and passionate local community, and a Council that is committed to supporting programs that create social connections and build community networks.

Skills and Experience

  • A dynamic individual, committed to social justice, with a strong background in community development, grants and funding administration and excellent communication skills.
