Family, Education and Community Services is responsible for the delivery of professional, high quality child care services and educational programs in the Campbelltown local government area.
We provide care to children aged 0-12 years and operate according to Early Childhood Education and Care National Regulations and the National Quality Standards and Framework.
About the role:
We are currently seeking to employ a permanent full time Child Care Aide who will be responsible for planning, implementing and evaluating developmentally appropriate programs, maintaining individual records for children aged 0-12 years and implementing the National Quality Framework practices and regulations to a high standard.
The successful candidate will demonstrate the following key skills and attributes:
- Diploma level Education and Care qualification recognised as an approved qualification by the Australian Children’s Education and Care Quality Authority (ACECQA).
- Current First Aid Certificate and approve asthma and anaphylaxis training.
- Knowledge of children development 0-12 years.
- Knowledge of National Quality Framework including Education and Care Services National Regulations and Law.
- Statement of Attainment in Nutrition and Menu Planning (HLTNA302B) and Safe Food Handling (THGHS01B).
- Ability to work as a cooperative team member.
- A commitment to a customer focussed service.
- Relevant work experience including practical experience in implementing the Early Years Learning Framework.
- A cleared Working with Children Check.
