The Role:

As the Senior Building & Development Officer, you will provide an efficient & effective service in relation to the assessment of applications in a range of development control functions, including the processing of applications, compliance and responding to customer enquiries.


You must have:

  • Tertiary qualification in building surveying, environmental health or equivalent and Accreditation under the NSW Building Professionals Board Council Accreditation Scheme
  • Extensive relevant experience in development assessment including complex developments
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the Environmental Planning & Assessment Act 1979 and Local Government Act 1993 and associated legislation and regulations.
  • Class C Licence
