Safety, Risk & Compliance Officer
Full time ongoing role based in Mathoura, 9 day fortnight, access to suitable vehicle for work purposes available.
Salary range - $71,396 to $79,963 p.a. depending on qualifications and/or experience + 9.5% Superannuation, excellent salary sacrificing opportunities.
Murray River Council is seeking an enthusiastic, suitably qualified and experienced Safety, Risk and Compliance Officer. Reporting to the Manager Risk.
You will be responsible for:
- Developing and implementing quality safety systems, policies and procedures
- Conducting thorough investigations for breaches in WHS, Risk and Compliance
- Ensuring all staff are provided with up-to-date and correct information to ensure compliance with WHS Act 2011
- Providing excellent record keeping on all incidents, compliance registers and training records
- Facilitating all operational compliance training.
