Social Policy and Programs is looking for a skilled person to support the development and evaluation of Social Policies and Programs of policies and programs in a small Social Policy team. The team provides policy advice, develops polices and conducts program evaluations to ensure that the City’s services are evidence based, result from internal and external partnerships, and which will give effect to the City's strategic directions. You will be responsible for conducting research, contributing to in program evaluations, and providing policy and program support and administration. You will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to support the development of capacity in the ageing and disability sectors.
You will have a qualification in a relevant social services discipline or work experience in the social or community services field, ability to conduct desktop research on social issues and community programs, good organisational and time management skills, together with good Microsoft Office skills. Ability to balance competing priorities in order to meet deadlines are desirable.
