The Position:
An excellent opportunity has arisen for a dynamic and experienced candidate to join the Shire of Broome in the role of Payroll Officer. This position will report to the Coordinator Financial Services.
The Payroll Officer will be responsible for providing accurate fortnightly payroll processing for approximately 200 employees. Duties will include data entry, award interpretation, reconciliations, superannuation and reporting and record keeping requirements.

The Person We Seek:
The preferred candidate will be a customer focused payroll professional who has strong numeracy and eye attention for detail skills. In addition, you will also have excellent time management skills to be able to work to strict processing deadlines.
Previous experience in a similar position or equivalent environment would be also be highly regarded.
