About the Role

Are you a people person with a green streak, who lives for the beach and loves live events? Want to play a key role in delivering Council’s ‘Summer in the City’ litter education and campaign?


A small team of enthusiastic and environmentally-savvy individuals with strong communication and engagement skills, combined with the ability to carry out surveys and data collection, are wanted for these high-profile roles offering variety, lots of time outdoors and the chance to be part of an exciting Summer program. Success in this position will depend on your ability to communicate our education campaign to a broad range of audiences and manage your time and work priorities.


Training will be provided to support you in engaging the public, residents, traders and event providers to share key messages that help preserve the beaches, parks and streets that define our iconic city during the busy Summer months. The role also offers the opportunity to participate in media and major events, while contributing to sustainable environmental outcomes.
