HERITAGE ADVISOR/PLANNER

We have a permanent opportunity for an experienced Heritage Advisor to join our City Planning team at Blue Mountains Council. You will work closely with development assessment staff to advise on the heritage aspects of development applications. You will be responsible for providing specialist heritage advice and input to ensure our effective statutory management of heritage within the City.


The successful candidate will be a qualified heritage professional, with demonstrated experience in providing high quality heritage advice to a range of stakeholders. You will bring highly developed analytical and research skills to the position, and be able to provide clear and complex advice on a range of architectural and material heritage matters. You will have excellent customer service and communication skills. Experience in the local government context will be highly considered.


Salary: commencing at $3200.67 gross per fortnight.
