The Health and Safety Team works collaboratively with our people to enable them to deliver an essential service to the community that is undertaken with safety being the main priority.

Your responsibilities for this opportunity include: 

  • Design a health and wellbeing framework for our organisation
  • Incorporate a holistic approach to health encompassing physical, mental and emotional wellbeing in the workplace
  • Define and assess wellbeing competencies
  • Identify wellbeing metrics and monitor performance
  • Oversee procurement and delivery of external support services

Your success in this role will come from:

  • Tertiary qualifications in health or safety and/or extensive relevant experience
  • Strong interpersonal skills and business partnering/influencing skills
  • Experience in designing and delivering improvement initiatives
  • Extensive knowledge on the correlation between work, wellbeing and success
  • Experience coaching and supporting our people on health related issues

This 12-month fixed term contract opportunity will suit someone who is passionate about delivering and leading the implementation of the health and wellbeing ‘run the business’ initiative, assess effectiveness and identify improvements.
