Corporate Strategy Officer
Things we'll trust you with
You will be an integral team member of the newly established Corporate Strategy function.
Share your knowledge and experience supporting strategic / business planning and performance reporting.
Directly supporting the Corporate Strategy Coordinator and our Director Corporate Support, you will assist in developing Council’s strategic planning framework.
You will encourage collaboration and build greater cohesion of our business areas - supporting Council to achieve our one vision, live our values, increase performance and create a strong and sustainable future for our community.
You will help to develop a suite of planning documents which will map out and guide us to achieve our vision - including the Community Strategic Plan, Delivery Program, and Operational Plan.
You will have exceptional time management, organisational skills and demonstrated experience in supporting learning initiatives and workshops.
You’ll be a positive brand ambassador for Sutherland Shire Council – able to work collaboratively and foster effective relationships with people at all levels, both internally and externally – including Executive, employees, community and Councillors.
Things you'll do
You will work collaboratively with the Corporate Strategy Coordinator and key business unit stakeholders to develop frameworks which allow us to effectively identify, measure, manage and enhance performance of Council.
You will organise and support facilitation of workshops, strategic discussions, planning, decision making and performance reporting against agreed key plans.
You will utilise your exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills to champion change - supporting our employees, managers, customers and community to evolve.
You will help to identify, assess and manage business risks to ensure the successful delivery of objectives and mitigate overall organisational risk.
