Community Partnerships Officer – Gender Equity



We are seeking a Community Partnerships Officer to support the City of Greater Bendigo with the delivery of the Growing Gender Equity in Greater Bendigo project. This project aims to build collaborative, whole of community, sustainable approaches to the primary prevention of violence against women.


In this role you will work in partnership with community networks, organisations and committees that promote gender equity and support the improvement of gender equity practices, policies and structures. You will ensure effective communication within the organisation, to council and the community in the promotion of gender equity.


The successful applicant will be an excellent communicator with experience in gender equity initiatives, community development and program development and implementation.


A satisfactory Police Record Check and Working with Children Check are mandatory for this position.
