Tasks include but not limited to:

Providing administrative support for the Information Services Unit
-
Coordinate meetings and take meeting minutes for all unit and team meetings
-
Creation of documents and presentations.
-
Assist in procuring and contract management of systems/solutions
-
Create/issue security cards and maintain access to the security system for the Campsie offices
-
Maintain Council mobile phones – issuing, swapping, new services etc.
-
Assist in preparing and maintaining budgets
-
Utilise the Document Management system for registering and managing Council’s documentation
-
Carry out office duties such as filling, printing, photocopying, mail outs etc.
-
Organise Courier Services as required; maintain tea/coffee supplies for unit; organise general catering and ordering of stationery, including store items and external requisitions
-
Provide support to Information Services staff with information coordination and dissemination
-
Personally develop basic practical end user knowledge of all systems supported by Information Services
-
Analyse internal processes and user trends to assist and suggest productivity improvements
-
Provide data entry services
Essential Criteria:
-
Tertiary qualifications in Business Administration or equivalent relevant experience
-
Experience in PC software packages (e.g. MS Office)
-
Excellent verbal and strong written communication skills
-
Ability to work as an effective team member within a collaborative and cross-functional team environment
-
Ability to set priorities, plan and organise day-to-day tasks
-
Effective complaints handling skills and experience
-
Provide excellent customer service skills
-
Extensive Office and Administrative experience
