About Us

Moonee Valley City Council is a vibrant and diverse municipality. We are a local government within the north-west metropolitan area of Melbourne, providing a range of services to some 118,000 residents and over 10,000 businesses.

The Men’s Shed Program aims to improve men’s health and wellbeing, by encouraging peer support.  It is a place for men of all ages to get together and share their skills and knowledge with each other while completing wood work, metal work, up-cycling, creative art and restoration projects. The Men’s Shed incorporates an Up-Cycling program whereby goods salvaged and restored by the Men’s Shed are made available for sale to the wider community.
