Site Inspector - Works



We are looking for a Site Inspector to provide site inspections and monitor day to day activities of Council Contractors and Service Providers to ensure compliance with the WH&S obligations, contractual requirements and particularly the specification, and construction quality requirements.  

  • Investigating and reviewing the scope and extend of works and providing feedback to the Program Engineer
  • Ensuring Contractors fully comply with contractual requirements including specifications
  • Planning and coordinating projects
  • Ensuring customers are notified prior to commencement of works
  • Ensuring traffic control plans and road occupancy licences are appropriate and meet Roads and Maritime Services guidelines


To be successful in this position you must have appropriate tertiary qualifications and or relevant work experience deemed equivalent in areas such as civil construction industry, a current Class C Driver’s licence and a current traffic control and construction general induction card (white card).


Salary will be dependent upon the relevant skills, experience and competencies of the successful applicant.
