About the Role
Based inDalby, you will be responsible for delivering spatial data and services for both strategic and operational uses. You will be responsible for delivering spatial platforms suitable for Council's needs.
Reporting to the Asset & GIS Coordinator, you will:
Maintain Council's corporate mapping system, including vendor management
Provide high quality and timely spatial data products and services responding to Council Business requirements
Deliver multiple analytics projects, with a high degree of accuracy
Provide operational support and training for users in the utilisation of relevant aspects of GIS software packages
Maintaining and upgrading Council’s digital cadastral database
About you
The successful applicant will have experience in;
MapInfo Pro software
Preparing maps to a high standard with limited supervision
The Spectrum Spatial Analyst Management console
Writing MapBasic or Python routines
Writing MapBasic routines
Using AutoCAD software
