Our community is growing and so is our team. We're looking for a communications all-rounder who can deliver end-to-end campaigns across traditional and digital platforms.
The role is responsible for:
- Driving communication campaigns that raise awareness about Council services, events, initiatives and decisions
- Creating an exciting communication content calendar that engages our community and meets key corporate objectives
- Managing our day to day social media content, outreach and customer enquiries
- Producing engaging content for a range of channels including media, social media, web, enewsletters, advertisements and printed publications.
- Assisting with media enquiries and pro-active media outreach
- Supporting engagement and consultation programs including content for Council's online consultation portal.
To be successful in this role you will have a proven track record developing and executing innovative multi-channel communication campaigns for a range of audiences and services.
The successful applicant will be required to obtain an employee Working with Children Check prior to commencement.
