WHS Project Manager

  • Term Contract 12 months + possible extension 6 months
  • 19 Day Month

The Role:

Reporting to the General Manager, this is a newly created project position where you will lead the review, development and delivery of a people focussed WHS system aligned with our organisation values. Importantly the system must be supported by best practice WHS processes that provide practical solutions which are accessible and understood by our employees.


The position will liaise closely with the WHS Project Team and take the lead with regards to the implementation of the program. To achieve this, you must be an experienced WHS professional who is looking for an opportunity to make a difference.


You must have:

  • Tertiary qualifications in WHS or related discipline
  • Demonstrated experience in the development, implementation and management of Safety Management systems, plans and frameworks.
  • Demonstrated experience in the development and implementation fo WHS policies, procedures and work standards such as SWMS’s and SOPs.
  • Demonstrated experience in the design of WHS training
  • Demonstrated leadership and people management skills
