The Role:
This role is a newly created position reporting to the Strategic Land Use Planning Coordinator. The role is responsible for ensuring that Council’s Development Contributions and planning agreements deliver sustainable outcomes and appropriate infrastructure in a timely and affordable manner for the Hawkesbury community.
You must have:
- Tertiary qualifications in urban planning or related discipline or relevant work experience
- Current C Class driver's licence
- Demonstrated interest and experience in the Developer Contributions, Infrastructure Planning and the negotiation of Planning Agreements in accordance with legislative requirements and best practice
- Knowledge of NSW Planning framework and associated legislation
