Manager Maintenance/Workshop - Murray BridgeJob no: 496941 This is a rare opportunity for a great people leader who can and wants to make a difference to the everyday lives of our team and the everyday experience for our customers. Based at our well-equipped workshop in Murray Bridge the role will be responsible for leading a multi-disciplinary trades team who deliver safe and efficient engineering solutions and outcomes for internal and external maintenance and capital delivery programs. The team support the reliability of our plant and equipment throughout the Murray Mallee region as well as undertaking various projects that will enhance the services we supply to the community. In this position you will take the lead in further embedding our behavioural based culture in safe work practices, continuous improvement, new technologies and our care and commitment to the environment and water quality obligations. Our ideal candidate will need a proven leadership background ideally in an engineering or service environment along with excellent people skills. The ability to engage, communicate and influence and the passion to further develop the capabilities of our professional team. You will also need to demonstrate strong commercial acumen and the ability to identify and assist with the securing new business opportunities. To be considered it is essential that you have either achieved qualifications in engineering, relevant trade or equivalent competencies along with highly developed people leadership capabilities.
