Are you looking to further develop your career against the backdrop of an expanded Capital Works Program?


Working with a highly experienced and reliable Leading Hand, you will lead the Works and Services team to deliver safely, on time and on budget against the agreed Capital Works Plan. Your long term vision and strategic planning skills will be utilised to develop 5 year plans and seeking Council support for Works and Services, which support the residents and enhance the Town’s assets through the delivery of minor construction projects and maintenance activities including but not limited to drainage, roads, footpaths and cemetery operations.


The person we are looking for will have extensive experience in Civil Engineering and/or Construction Management with minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role / 5 years industry experience.  Our ideal candidate will have a proven record in managing a team within the engineering/construction sector with strong leadership and organisational skills.  You will have excellent written and verbal communication abilities together with sound contract management experience.
