City of Melbourne often recruits for school crossings in various locations throughout the City of Melbourne municipality.
Our positions are Permanent Part Time and Casual
- Approximately 15 hours per fortnight
- Hourly rate from $24.39 per hour plus 9.5% Superannuation
How this position will Make the Difference to City of Melbourne… The School Crossing Supervisor will work across the City of Melbourne municipality ensuring the safety of children and pedestrians crossing the road and will be the friendly face that kids remember and trust. If you enjoy the outdoors and interacting with the public this role may be for you. You will need to be available between the hours of 8:00 - 9:00am and 3:00 - 4:00pm Monday to Friday if you are supervising a crossing. This role would be of benefit to someone who currently resides close to the City of Melbourne municipality.

- Well-developed interpersonal skills and sound written and verbal communication skills
- Well-developed customer service skills and demonstrated ability to be professional, discrete and courteous and the ability to maintain confidentiality
- Ability to demonstrate commitment to develop and maintain skills through ongoing training
- Ability to acquire a basic knowledge and understanding of legislation relative to duties
- Ability to work well autonomously and in a team, contributing constructively to team outcomes
