Council is seeking a suitably qualified applicant to fill the permanent full-time role of Team Leader Parks and Open Spaces.


Reporting directly to the Roads and Parks Coordinator, this position is responsible for ensuring the useability, functionality and beautification of our parks and open spaces. The role ensures works are completed in line with asset plans, asset maintenance schedules and/or operational plans. The position is a hands-on role, within the field to achieve departmental objectives.


We are seeking a highly motivated individual with strong communication, interpersonal and time management skills and the ability to meet set priorities. The successful candidate will require a trade certificate in Horticulture or equivalent, have demonstrated experience in leadership and relevant experience in the management of resources involved in beautification work. We are seeking suitable applicants who will use their knowledge, skills and experience to lead, develop and support their teams under their direction.
