The role of Administration Officer is responsible for the provision of efficient administrative services to the Unit to ensure accurate capture of Central Coast Council’s (CCC) plant and fleet asset data and the execution of processes and transactions associated with the acquisition, issue and disposal of plant and fleet assets.


Our ideal candidate is someone who has worked in a similar role previously in a high volume and busy environment. We are looking for someone with strong data entry and customer service skills, who is flexible, resilient and adaptable to change and able to work under pressure.


The successful candidate will be required to work a rotating roster - Week 1 - Thursday and Friday, Week 2 - Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday.  It is essential that the successful applicant will be available to relieve for annual/sick leave periods when required.  


Key activities of this role include:

  • Develop and maintain records to ensure accurate, current, consistent and effective capture of plant and fleet asset data and hire revenue;
  • Liaise and convey with CCC employees, motor dealers, manufacturers and selling agents to meet business expectations on the timing of acquisition and disposal of plant and fleet assets;
  • Ensure plant and fleet asset acquisitions meet compliance and detailed specification requirements and address any discrepancies with Supervisor as appropriate;

This role provides a salary range of between $30.53 to $36.64 per hour ($534.28 to $641.20 per week - based on 17.5 hrs per week) + superannuation.
