  • Band 7 ($93,398-$103,788 prorata) plus 9.5% Super

Maribyrnong City Council is undergoing significant change in population growth, redevelopment, and a transitioning economy is leading to an influx of new residents, businesses and opportunities. Maribyrnong is becoming a sought after residential area and a destination for foodies.


An exciting and rewarding opportunity exists to work with the Early Years team as the Maribyrnong Best Start Program Leader.


This position is funded via the Department of Education and Training (DET) to deliver the Maribyrnong Best Start Program in partnership with local services.


We are seeking an experienced individual with relevant tertiary qualifications in children's services, community development or a related human / social sciences discipline to deliver the Best Start Program in line with the DET Guidelines and facilitate and strengthen partnerships between a range community sector agencies from the early years, family support and health sectors and State Government representatives.


You will support local Project Groups and Improvement teams to develop responses to emerging issues, trends and research findings, and drive a continuous improvement approach that is focused on clear evaluation methods to help support the development of future actions.
