Interested? We are looking for a motivated, career-minded safety professional to join our People, Culture and Safety Department, to implement the strategic OH&S Plan and provide specialist OH&S advice.


As the Safety and Wellbeing Advisor at Maribyrnong City Council, you will support the organisation in developing and coordinating safety projects and facilitate health and safety consultation and communication. Providing specialist OH&S advice and developing the health and wellbeing program are all part of this exciting role.


You will preferably have a tertiary qualification in OHS and/or substantial relevant experience, along with skills in developing and implementing proactive safety programs.


Highly developed interpersonal skills including the ability to liaise, engage, encourage, build effective relationships and consult with Council staff and external service providers are key to your success in this vital role.
