Inspection Arborist

The City of Whitehorse is seeking an experienced and professional arborist to join the Arbor Team in the Inspection Arborist role.
The Arbour team is tasked with delivering on the city's tree management services and compliance obligations in relation to street trees, parks and reserves, council facilities and electric line clearing. The Arbor Team also provides technical input to internal clients such the planning department and risk management.
The Inspection Arborist will largely be engaged in inspection/ assessment and contractor allocation of reactionary works however the position will assist in all aspects of Arbor Team service delivery.
You will have sound knowledge of and experience in, the use of contemporary arboreal equipment, practices and techniques. In addition you will have the necessary qualifications and substantial experience, in the delivery of arboreal programs in a Municipal environment or equivalent industry experience.
