About the role:

We have a fantastic permanent opportunity for an experienced Electrical Dual Tradesperson based in Merredin. The successful candidate will be responsible for the provision of electrical and instrumentation services including installation, testing, maintenance, fault finding, repair and commissioning of all Water Corporation’s assets throughout the Region. 

What the role will offer:

• Performs scheduled and unscheduled maintenance and installs electrical and instrumentation components within a system Uses and selects from the full range of work instructions and processes.

• Problem solves as required utilising application of knowledge of complex water systems and complex chemical dosing systems

• Plans and supervises/performs complex isolations and shutdowns

• Makes decisions about worksite priorities

• Advises operators about electrical and instrumentation systems to optimise water processes

Key skills and experience:

• Unrestricted Electrical License Dual Trade

• Relevant High Risk Licences

• WA ‘C’ Class Drivers Licence

• Demonstrated computer literacy (Word, Excel and Outlook)

• Demonstrates the values and behaviours that contribute to a constructive, high performance and safety cultures
