  • You will lead and be responsible for facilitating the effective and efficient execution of the Information Management and Technology Performance Management Framework.
  • You will lead multidisciplinary teams – including Customer Experience, Service Management, Performance Management, Spatial, Solution Services, Integration Services and Enterprise Content Management.
  • You will inspire, motivate and coach your team members to realise, unleash and harness their potential.

  • You will identify, assess and manage business risks to ensure the successful delivery of objectives and mitigate overall organisational risk.

  • You will be accountable for providing strategic leadership and planning - ensuring that the right information is available to the right people at the right time (with the right context to make it meaningful and useful).
  • You will drive improved sustainability through creating a future information architecture environment, to better support digital business (social, mobile, analytics, cloud, omni-channel and consumer driven technology).
  • You’ll have a strong hands-on approach and a willingness to share your specialist skills and experience in the technology and information management space.
  • You will establish an environment designed to foster sophisticated interconnectivity between services and providing an intermediate layer of processing that can help overcome common problems associated with reliability, scalability, and communications disparity.
  • You will work towards achieving an optimum design of resilient, cost-efficient application and hardware infrastructure.
  • You will navigate through changing environments and develop strategies to position Council to make constructive decisions.
  • You have high levels of emotional intelligence and a proven ability to work collaboratively and foster effective strategic relationships with people at all levels both internally and externally.
  • You will lead the IM&T unit to ensure proactive engagement with our diverse internal customers – supporting them to identify and develop appropriate solutions in an innovative and collaborative way.
  • You’ll support our diverse business areas of Sutherland Shire Council, creating a strong and sustainable future for our community.
