The Role
Join Council’s Works unit where you will coordinate Councils annual capital works program across urban and rural roads, drainage structures, footpaths, parks and reserves etc.
To be successful you will bring:
- Tertiary qualifications in a Civil Engineering discipline, or equivalent extensive experience in a similar role
- Demonstrated high level ability to supervise staff and contractors in civil construction projects
- Demonstrated high level ability with interpreting engineering drawings, performing quantity calculations, and preparing and managing small contracts
The Rewards
- Commencing salary between $114,228 – $128,555 per annum, inclusive of 3.5% Civil Liability allowance and 9.5% superannuation
- Fully maintained leaseback motor vehicle as a discretionary benefit
- Work 38 hours per week, over a 9 day fortnight
