Project Manager - Planning & Project Development, Moranbah
About the role:
Isaac Regional Council (IRC) is seeking a highly motivated Project Manager - Planning & Project Development to join its Water & Waste Directorate for a five (5) year fixed term full time contract, based in Moranbah.
This role reports to the Manager, Projects and Planning who is responsible for delivery of the Water and Waste Directorate’s Capital Works Program. The Project Manager shall plan projects to ensure minimal impact to day to day operations, whilst considering maintenance costs associated with new and existing infrastructure investments are minimised through assessment of full life-cycle costs.

About you:
We are seeking an enthusiastic water and waste professional who excels in meeting the challenges of project management in a collaborative team environment.
- You will have significant experience in project planning, including a strong background in risk assessment, and working with stakeholders to develop and deliver prudent and efficient outcomes to meet strategic business requirements.
- You shall possess extensive experience in water, wastewater and waste operations which will compliment effective and pragmatic planning and management of projects using an industry recognised project management methodology.
- Your excellent understanding of asset management principles shall ensure the effective development of capital solutions for water and wastewater transport networks and treatment schemes; as well as waste management facilities.
- You will require a current C Class Open Australian Drivers Licence.
