You will work as part of a team undertaking assessment of development applications for residential development and associated structures. If you are an accredited certifier you will also undertake assessment of Construction Certificate and Occupation Certificate applications and carry out mandatory critical stage inspections of buildings.

You will have tertiary qualifications in Building Surveying, Town Planning or a related discipline. Persons seeking appointment as a building surveyor/certifier will need to be accredited, or eligible for accreditation, under the BPB Accreditation scheme, preferably at a minimum level of A3. However consideration will be given to candidates accredited at A4 level.
You will be technically proficient, committed to providing excellent customer service and be able to demonstrate highly developed communication, interpersonal, negotiation and report writing skills.
Excellent progression opportunities are available dependent upon experience and qualifications. This is a full time position working a 38.75 hour week with a RDO every 2 weeks.
A Council vehicle with private use arrangements is available.
Salary: commencing at $2296.62 (graduate) to $3524.77 (senior) gross per fortnight (depending on skills and experience).
