Working as a departmental lawyer requires the ability and adaptability to advise on a wide range of matters, however for this vacancy experience in property law is particularly desirable. 

Our mature and highly experienced team of lawyers advise TMR staff at all levels on a wide range of complex and sensitive legal matters including statutory interpretation, workplace law, intellectual property, QITC, contractual and commercial matters, transactions and disputes, statutory interpretation, property, planning, projects and construction.

Accountabilities include:

Provide researched, timely, practical and accurate legal advice about and draft documents regarding a wide range of property matters/issues including in relation to:

• various property structures and issues;

• planning and construction concepts;

• leasing, licensing and conveyancing principles, procedures and documents;

• easements, practical ramification, burden and benefits;

• covenants and subdivisions;

• mortgages and other securities;

• unregistered dealings;

• caveats; and

• real property legislation.
