The Position:

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a dynamic, experienced and qualified candidate to join the Shire of Broome in the role of Plant Operator – Waste Operations. This position will report to the Waste Management Facility Team Leader.

The Plant Operator will be a member of a team that operates and maintains the Waste Management Facility and will undertake duties in the facility gate house when directed and keep records as instructed.

The Person We Seek:

The preferred candidate will have a minimum of 5 years experience in road construction and plant operation. You will have knowledge of servicing and maintenance of trucks and plant, and knowledge of safe working practices. With an ability to follow them at all times. You will also have highly developed communication skills both written and verbal and the ability to learn new systems of work.
