About the role:
 
This role will develop and deliver effective stakeholder and community engagement strategies across a range of regional infrastructure projects.
 
What the role will offer:
  • This role will work with a variety of internal stakeholders, acting as an advisor and liaison for projects with community impacts.
  • External Relationships will be expected to be developed with the communities in which we work, including but not limited to residents, community groups, businesses, local governments, and other State and Federal Government departments.
  • Occasional travel to regional areas required.
Key skills and experience:
  • Degree level qualification in communications, public relations or related discipline.
  • Strong relationship-building and influencing skills
  • Relevant experience in community engagement, stakeholder and issues management
  • Experience in developing communication engagement material and the development and implementation of communication and community engagement strategies
  • Media and issues analysis, tracking and management
  • Previous experience in coordination of events
