Cafe Attendant
This position is located at the Ballarat Aquatic and Lifestyle Centre and will be the front line for the delivery of customer service. Responsible for the delivery of outstanding customer service and the sale of food and beverage, this position will also require some cleaning and general administration duties. Through high levels of customer service and communication this position will enhance the aquatic experience of the people of Ballarat.
Key Selection Criteria
Demonstrated experience in the hospitality and/or retail sales, including cash handling procedures.
Excellent customer service skills.
Food Handling Certificate. (Preferred)
Barista Training (Preferred)
Adequate computer skills, preferably in Microsoft Word and Excel.
Proven ability to operate a point of sale system.
Knowledge and understanding of health and safety issues relevant to work activities and work area.
Up to date knowledge of the food safety program.
Roster flexibility (After hours and weekend hours)
