To maintain Council’s assets and facilities – promoting best practice and ensuring high standard of cleanliness and hygiene.
You’ll be approachable and open - Referring requests, questions or feedback to appropriate Events and Performing Arts staff / supervisors as required.
You will identify, communicate and manage any WHS risks, ensuring a safe environment for yourself, colleagues and community members.
You will be proactive, motivated and customer focussed – acting as a positive brand ambassador for Sutherland Shire Council.
You’ll be reliable, punctual and flexible in your casual availability, with casual Cleaning and Maintenance shifts spanning 7 days of operation.
Things you'll do
You will ensure that the Sutherland Entertainment Centre, Sutherland Memorial School of Arts and Engadine Community Centre venues are clean, safe and maintained.
You will provide effective cleaning, maintenance, venue set-up and security across the three venues.
You will ensure all cleaning work is carried out in an efficient, effective and safe manner.
You will contribute to a sustainable future and a safe, healthy physical environment.
You will ensure all requirements of the position are carried out as directed by the Team Leader Venue Operations.
You will have a strong work ethic, priding yourself on your attention to detail, professionalism and customer service.

Package: Casual hourly rate - $31.48 per hour
