This exciting role within the City of Sydney’s Health and Building Team will provide the successful candidate with experience across a broad range of existing building types and uses. The position(s) is for a fixed 3 year term to assist the City with building and fire safety compliance work.
We are seeking 3 competent officers to fulfil this role. Duties will include developing fire safety strategies for existing buildings, the preparation of fire safety assessments reports, as well as attendance at associated meetings and site reviews. The successful candidate(s) will primarily focus on fire safety & associated regulatory building compliance type work involving the assessment of external cladding to facades of existing buildings.
Applicants will require appropriate tertiary qualifications in Building, Engineering and or Building Science; have proven field experience in fire safety projects, the ability to work collaboratively, autonomously and with highly effective relationship skills.
