Site Maintenance Officer, Isaac Region

An exciting opportunity exists for 2 permanent full time Site Maintenance Officer to join Isaac Regional Council’s Water & Waste Directorate, based in the Isaac Region. Reporting to the Manager Operations & Maintenance. This position will be responsible for grounds maintenance of all water and waste treatment plants and waste management sites, including general labouring support as required across Isaac Regional Council. Candidates must have the flexibility to travel and work across the Isaac Region with successful candidate being required to work away from home with fatigue accommodation supplied.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- A genuine interest in Horticulture and/or Turf management;
- General building maintenance experience;
- Demonstrated ability to maintain plant in good working order;
- Minimum 12 months experience within a similar position;
- Certificate level qualification in horticulture and chemical application operations as well as relevant plant competencies would be highly regarded;
- Blue / White card – General Safety Induction for construction;
- Up to date Hepatis vaccinations or willing to obtain;
- Current ‘C’ Class Open Australian Drivers Licence.
For this position we offer:
- Salary $52,151.47 - $53,226.34 per annum + allowances
- Nominally 76 hours per fortnight
- 5 weeks annual leave @ 17.5% loading pro-rata
- 12% super (in accordance with policy)
