An exciting opportunity exists for two full time Project Managers - Planning & Project Development to join Isaac Regional Council's Water & Waste Directorate based in Moranbah, Queensland.
These roles report to the Manager, Projects and Planning who is responsible for delivery of the Water and Waste Directorate’s Capital Works Program.
We are seeking enthusiastic water and waste professionals who excel in meeting the challenges of project management in a collaborative team environment.
You will have significant experience in project planning, including a strong background in risk assessment, and working with stakeholders to develop and deliver prudent and efficient outcomes to meet strategic business requirements.
The Project Manager shall plan projects to ensure minimal impact to day to day operations, whilst considering maintenance costs associated with new and existing infrastructure investments are minimised through assessment of full life-cycle costs.
You shall possess extensive experience in water, wastewater and waste operations which will compliment effective and pragmatic planning and management of projects using an industry recognised project management methodology.
Your excellent understanding of asset management principles shall ensure the effective development of capital solutions for water and wastewater transport networks and treatment schemes; as well as waste management facilities.
You will require a current C Class Open Australian Drivers Licence
