A great opportunity has arisen at Isaac Regional Council for a Recoverable Works Engineer based in the Isaac Region. Reporting to the Manager Infrastructure, Planning and Technical Service, this position provides coordination and delivery of Operational and Capital Recoverable Works as they relate to the Engineering & Infrastructure Directorate. The Recoverable Works Engineer will also ensure projects are delivered within budget and scheduled timeframes, specifically relating to Recoverable works including but not restricted to Transport Infrastructure Development Scheme, Roads to Recovery and other grant funded programs.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and organisational skills are essential;
- Demonstrated success in the areas of reporting, negotiation, problem solving;
- Proven ability to analyse asset data and prepare reports;
- Comprehensive understanding of relevant legislation;
- Tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering;
- Registered Professional Engineer of Queensland (RPEQ) Certification or ability to obtain (Desirable);
- Blue/White Card;
- Ability to pass a pre-employment functional assessment and/or behavioural testing;
- The role requires the possession of a current C Class Open Australian Drivers Licence.

- 5 weeks annual leave @ 17.5% loading;
- 12% super (in accordance with policy).
