A fantastic opportunity is available for the newly created position of Manager Corporate Properties & Fleet on a five (5) year fixed term full time contract, working within our Engineering & Infrastructure (E&I) Directorate, to be based anywhere within the Isaac Region.
Reporting to the Director Engineering and Infrastructure, the Manager Corporate Properties & Fleet will provide asset management, business development and policy/process coordination and is responsible for the overall direction, leadership and management of Council’s Fleet and Corporate Properties department. The Manager will provide leadership and deliver functions contributing to the efficiency and effectiveness of Isaac Regional Council in meeting the Council and Organisational plans and associated goals.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Demonstrated experience in a senior leadership position managing teams of trade & maintenance, facilities maintenance, community facilities and/or property management.
- Proven experience in developing asset management plans/strategies and managing projects.
- Substantial experience in managing technical assets or related industry experience, with knowledge and experience in the building construction industry and plant and fleet industries.
- Experience in providing strategic leadership and identifying community and customer needs analysis, strategy and policy development, establishing performance standards and monitoring and reporting on performance.
- Tertiary qualifications in an Engineering, Buildings, Facilities, Property, Asset Management, Project Management and/or Senior Trade Qualifications in a relevant field discipline or significant demonstrated experience in a similar role
